An employee takes on a new role within the company and needs to take over contracts & tasks
An employee can always take on a new role and responsibilities within a company. To ensure a smooth transition of the contracts and corresponding tasks, we use filters and bulk actions.
We start by setting up one or more filters in our contract repository so that we have a clear overview of which contracts need to be transferred. Oftentimes, it’ll also be necessary to set up specific filters to search contracts within a certain subfolder.
By selecting the contracts using the checkbox on the left side, a taskbar will appear at the bottom of your screen where we can find all available bulk actions. We can edit all selected contracts in bulk.
A pop-up will appear allowing you to change the subfolder and the contract owner. Make sure not to change the subfolder; keep it the same as the current one. You only have to update the contract owner.
While doing so, there is an option to immediately transfer all tasks assigned from the current contract owner to the new owner.
Repeat this action for all contracts that need to be transferred to the new employee, along with their respective subfolders.
Note:When a user is part of multiple Contractify environments, an admin will not be able to delete this user. In this case, it’s best to contact your Customer Success Manager or send an email to [email protected].
