Click here to open in a new tab.

At Contractify, we take our users’ product feedback very seriously. This is why we have decided to make our standard list of folders and subfolders more customizable.

So what will change?

Where before folders and subfolders had to be managed from the folder tab in the main menu,  you will now see an extra folder tab under settings.

When clicking on this tab, you will see the list of folers that are currently available in your account. In most cases, this will be the standard list provided by contractify.

Next to the name of each folder, you will be able to see how many contracts and documents have been linked to it.

Deleting a folder

If a certain folder isn’t relevant for your company, you can delete it by clicking on the red trash can icon.

* This action is only possible if the folder in question doesn’t have any contracts or documents linked to it.

Editing the name of a folder or subfolder

If you would like to change the name of an existing folder you can do so by clicking on the pencil icon.

There, you will immediately be able to edit the name of the folder in English, Dutch and French.

To edit the name of a subfolder click on the arrow next to the folder to which the subfolder you want to edit belongs to.

Next, click on the green pencil icon next to the subfolder you want to edit and add the translation if needed.

Changing the order of folders or subfolders

To change the order of your list of folders, click on the double arrow next to the folder’s name and drag it to the desired position in the list.

To change the order of a list of subfolders under a certain folder click on the arrow next to the folder to which the list of subfolders belong.

Next, click on the double arrow next to the subfolder’s name and drag to the desired position in the list.

Giving a user access to a subfolder

To give a user access to a certain subfolder, first click on the subfolder’s name. This will lead you to the following overview where you will see a list of all the users who already have access to it.

Next, click on the pencil icon on the right and add the user.

Now let’s go back to the main menu!

When clicking on Folders in the main menu of Contractify, as an admin user, you will no longer see all of Contractify’s standard folders and subfolders, but only the ones that are activated in the settings.

When opening a subfolder, you will be able to see all of the users that have access to that subfolder, as well as all of the contracts, documents and relations linked to that specific subfolder.

All of the edits you make for folders and subfolders in the settings will be reflected in the folder tab in the main menu.
