Click here to open in new tab

The email accompanying the document that needs to be signed offers the signer the opportunity to ask for more information or to immediately sign the document.

If everything looks okay, you can go ahead and sign!

  • Signing the document requires you to scroll down to the end and confirm the conditions in the checkbox. After that, you can click on Start signing.

  • In case you added a legal notice in the settings, this is where you will have to copy it

In this example, we chose to authenticate the signing via email. This means that I will need to complete my email address and check my inbox for a one time password code.

Now enter the confirmation code to sign the document.

And if all goes well, your document will be signed!

Some remarks on quick signing using itsme and several types of eID readers

Quick signing is not supported when following signing methods are selected, which means the signer will have to go through the signing flows as many times as the number of requested signatures.
Example: If you need to place 5 signatures on one document, you shall have to go through the signing flow 5 times.

  • Sign manually + eID

  • Itsme

  • When using several types of eID readers (click here to see what card readers are supported for quick signing).

    • A transparent eID card reader is required. This is a card reader WITHOUT PIN pad. If the signer is using an eID reader WITH PIN pad, they will be prompted to sign each field individually.
